HOURS OF OPERATION

Starting Memorial Day weekend, the museum will  be open for tours on Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. through Labor Day.

There are two types of tours:

  1. Self-guided Tours – Stay in your vehicle and tour the museum at your own pace. Many of the stops have informational signs that tell you about our antique machinery, historical facts about places like the sawmill, shingle mill and businesses located in Olde Town. There is no charge for these tours, but donations are always welcomed.
  2. Large Group Guided Tours – Please call ahead to arrange a guided tour during operational hours (Wednesdays, Saturdays or Sundays.) Tour guides will explain the history of the museum and how it came to be. Many of the stops include a visit through the Farm History Building that is filled with exhibits related to farming or let you experience how it felt to do time while in Old Time Jail.  Tours typically take about an hour. There is no charge for tours but donations are always welcomed.

Please be aware that many of our working displays are only operational during museum events like our Antique Engine and Tractor Show in September. For more information, or to arrange a tour, call the museum at 269-639-2010, email: michiganflywheelers@yahoo.com or message us on Facebook.
