Farm History Day

Held annually the second Friday in May.
Open to area schools, homeschoolers, and the public, Farm History Day is a hands-on educational event where kids (and adults) can learn about the lives of our early settlers who lived on farms. During the day, students can learn how to dip candles, churn butter, and make rope while watching the blacksmith pound iron and see logs cut into lumber. Participants take a self-guide tour which includes a visit to Olde Town which features Old Tyme Jail, Over The Hill Forge and Peaceful Knoll Church. Free admission. Pet-free event.

Petals & Power Tools
The Michigan Flywheelers Museum is gearing up to host a fun and unique fundraiser titled “Petals and Power Tools,” on Saturday, May 23, 2026 from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Community members are invited to sell, buy and swap flowers, plants, power tools and hand tools at this six -hour event which is set to take place at the museum located two miles east of South Haven.
Those looking to participate have two options – unlimited outdoor space for $5 or for those who prefer a more shelter spot – $15 for pavilion spaces which includes two tables and two chairs.
Registration for participants will take place from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. on Saturday with the event opening up to the public from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is $1.00 for non-participants with kids 12 and under free.

Garden Tractor Show
Held the second weekend in June.
Friday, June 12 – Sunday, June 14, 2026
EXCITING NEWS! THIS EVENT IS NOW THREE DAYS!! Our Garden Tractor Show is now the entire weekend! The event includes activities like a large outdoor flea market, a lighted parade Friday evening, parade on Saturday and pulls Friday night and Saturday.
A fundraiser for the museum, the show also features a large outdoor flea market with vendors offering everything from antiques to apples. Over 100 vendors sell at this weekend event. Formerly called the Swap Meet/Flea Market, it originally started as a place for collectors to sell antique farm equipment parts. Since it’s inception over 25 years ago, the Swap Meet has evolved over the years including a name change and Garden Tractor event added. It is still one of the largest annual flea markets in the area
The Garden Tractor Show is open to any one who has a garden tractor (aka riding lawn mower. ) In it’s second year, the show is a chance to exhibit your prize mower, enjoy some special activities and just plain have some good ol’ fun! Overnight camping is available for exhibitors. Cost is $20 per RV/motorhome. No charge if you bring a tractor only. Please note – zero turn mowers not allowed, mowing decks must be removed, and kids under 12 who wish to drive a tractor need to have a guardian present with them while driving. Registration hours are Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday from 9 a.m. until noon. You must register to enter the show. Pulls will be held Friday and Saturday. Cost is $5 for unlimited pulls. Little ones will also be able to pull on Saturday during the Kids Pedal Pull. No registration fee for that event.
ADMISSION – The event runs from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to noon. Admission is $2 per person with kids 12 years and under free with paid admission. Pets are not allowed with those paying admission.
FLEA MARKET- vendors can start registering on Thursday as well. Cost is $20 per seller. Registration hours are the same as for exhibitors. Selling fee is $20. There is no space limit . No pre-registration. Registration hours are Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 8 a.m to 8 p.m. and Sunday starting at 9 a.m..
Pets allowed only with sellers and campers and must stay at campsites.
Personal Transportation Vehicles Registration (golf carts, Gators etc) $30. No firearms, ATVs, mini/dirt bikes or political items (flags, hats, signs, Confederate etc.)
Antique Engine & Tractor Show
Always starts the Thursday after Labor Day

One of the largest shows of its kind in the state, the Antique Engine and Tractor Show features hundreds of old farm machinery, demonstrations, parades, live entertainment, plenty of kids activities and more. All four days are filled with things to see and do for the entire family. You can munch on an ear of buttery sweet corn cooked in an old steam engine, watch tractor pulls, try your hand at the Flywheel Toss or sit down in the Stephenson Barn and listen to musicians play during the Moore’s Jam Session. Admission is $10 with kids 12 and under free with paid admission. Thursday is Seniors Day-admission is $5 for those 62 and over. Sunday Special – admission only $5. Pets allowed only with campers, exhibitors and vendors and must stay at camp site at all times. No ATVs, firearms or mini/dirt bikes or political items (banners, signs, flags etc. including Confederate Flag) Personal Transportation Vehicle Registration (golf carts, Gators etc.)- $30 (good for entire show.) Camping available. $20 per night plus daily admission.
